“Where Is My Home?” is a series of paintings about the idea that home is not always a physical place.
A few years ago I left my home country and began building my life somewhere new.
That experience made me think more deeply about what home really means.
At the same time, many people in the world lose their homes every day. Wars and conflicts force families to leave places they have spent their lives building and sometimes they are never able to return. In moments like this, home becomes more than just a building.
For me, home is something quieter, a sense of belonging and peace that stays with you despite changes in place, language or circumstance. Through this series I explore that question on canvas, searching for what home means and where it can be found.
All works in this collection are original and part of an ongoing exploration.
