Back to the Roots, 2026 reflects on returning to the places that shaped us. As we grow older and move through different cities and countries, we often find ourselves looking back at where we started. Returning to familiar places can bring back memories and feelings that we may have forgotten, while also making us realise how much we have changed. This painting is about that connection to where we come from and the parts of it that we continue to carry with us.
For larger works, where one side exceeds 100 cm, the painting will be carefully removed from the stretcher bars and shipped rolled in a protective tube. Shipping large artworks rolled is a safe and cost-effective method that helps reduce the risk of damage during international transit. Once received, the painting can be easily re-stretched onto wooden stretcher bars or framed by your local framer.
